Summer Writing Squad turns boring into BRILLIANT! History, science, family, outrageous discoveries — great topics to begin sharpening your writing skills.
1. Your child finishes a printed worksheet by hand.
2. You take a clear photo of just the writing (not your child).
3. You email it to elementarywritingresearch@gmail.com
4. A real person on our team reviews the writing and sends back specific, encouraging feedback and tips — to you, the parent. Please allow a few days for a response.
Please cover, crop, or remove anything in the photo that could identify your child, including:
If in doubt, leave it out. We only need the writing.
FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) protects the privacy of student education records.
COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) restricts how online services may collect personal information from children under 13. Under COPPA, services like ours may not collect personal information from children without verifiable parental consent.
By keeping your photo anonymous (no names, addresses, faces, or identifying details), you stay in control of your child's privacy and help us comply with these laws.
We use the photos only to generate feedback for you, do not share them outside our feedback team, and delete them after the feedback is sent.
Email us at elementarywritingresearch@gmail.com and we'll respond.
